Eureka - a Word That Rhymes With Orange

Oft' 'tis said and I've thought it mighty strange That not a word seems to rhyme with 'orange' And though some I may displease With poetic license please A rhyme I coin - in DC I pray 'forchange' Robert L. Hinshaw, CMSgt, USAF, Retired © All Rights Reserved

Very creative, Bob. I'm praying "forchange" too. You really hit a homer with this one. Just received the email on GE and wish we had some real leadership now. Witty, but also a great social commentary! Love, Carolyn

As always Bob, your witty mind won't leave strange things alone but probe the challenge thoroughly. Love it my friend!

What a challenge, to expunge all doubt and take the plunge into the abyss of words where one can sponge up knowledge and scavenge through rhymers just to find a word that does indeed rhyme with orange...hum? Enjoyed your poem...a lot! challenge expunge lozenge lunge orange plunge scavenge sponge. (And thank you for being a community builder and for unselfishly sharing your time to read and encourage poetry on this site. My life took a swift new direction about 8 months ago, and I have not been able to reciprocate. My thanks go to every community builder who enjoys poetry and encourages other poets, like I once tried to do. I love you…all! Lovingly, Dane Ann)

This is a mission impossible, I don't think there really is a rhyming word for "orange"! But good try...strange & forchange just doesn't count I'm afraid...However I do have to say...it's your poetic license and will grant you a green light!! Congrats!!
