AHH, Wordsworth... Great poet, one of the old school.. If I remember right he was a severe critic of Poe. And that is my only dislike of him as his poetry is truly great. Hearts breathing and hearts truth are two peas in the same pod, I go with that in mind. Why would a poet write otherwise as poetry is primarily heartfelt communication with others, and/ or with the world at large.

As always Lindley, your comment is very kind and generous, because that is where the true you resides. I don't care about POTD, I just have this need to write. For me, like a lot of writers (and all creatives), we create through catharsis. Many create their best through pain and darkness, it either produces something that shines, or assists them to make it through the darkness, somehow. In a way it's like giving birth to a very much loved child. Giving birth to a child is painful, letting go of them, into the hands of others, even more so. You have to trust that the messages delivered between lines are read and received, your words ring true and the spell works to deliver them back home to you, in some way or another. In this life or the next.

As I see it your poetry should be getting POTD awarded several times a month, year round. But Iam just an old poet with 50+ years under my belt. And not in tune with the flavor of modern poetry. However, I am very in tune with the majestic flavor and gifted abundance of the greats of poetry's golden age. I know great poetry when I read it, regardless of the form or flavor used.. Which you, my dear friend, never fail to deliver! God bless...

Never sell yourself short Lindley, or underestimate your talent. Without sounding like I'm blowing wind up your patooty, you are an extremely refined and talented writer. Far more than yours truly, my style is vastly different from yours and it's either loved or hated, like most. If you are writing from the heart, and there is underlying truth, even to the fantasy, then that is a good place to come from. That is a fact. Never sell yourself short. x

Thank you Lindley. I didn't expect potd and it really doesn't matter as long as words take us somewhere more glowingly prescient than what we are bathed in at present. I have been using music to go within for quite a while...the sound frequency and mantra's I've been listening to assist sometimes with what I imagine to be automatic writing, sometimes I wonder if I am here at all. Writing keeps me above the waterline. Isolation is a good and bad thing. Obviously I am looking for answers to a myriad of life questions. Poetry transports me there intermittently, through reality into other dimensions, sometimes one doesn't want to come back to reality. LUX VITAE to you and your family. xx

Thank you. Music leads me to "within". I am "within" most nights and days and within the lucid dreams I have been inevitably seekng that "I Am". Within all of us there is only 1 word that is the key, and that opens the door we are all seeking. I was reading this guy the other night, "“An outrageous instinct to love and be loved blinded your arms to lines of propriety––Women and Men, Christians and Jews, Muslims and Buddhists, white, black, red, brown.
