Eternal Love
Eternal Love
A year ago you went away
and we never said goodbye.
When I heard the news
on that awful day
all I could do was cry.
Now I look back at all the years
God let me have with you
and I realize with the path you took
there was nothing I could do,
except guide you and provide you
with the love God gave to me
and pray that it would be enough
to last for eternity.
