Essential, Trivial

Time seeks out and preseves that which is essential, in due time. Sooner than you expect, you shall ask that inner mirror what it is, all this time, you've been living and dying for. Before you, shall appear a perfect, dark vacuity that shall stare long at you with startling, numbing clarity. On desolate sands you shall leave wet footprints and go far, you can't be where you want to be by staying where you are. Yet time keeps everything from happening all at once, everything has its turn, all is given an ample chance. But, time weeds out and dissolves all that is trivial, in due time.
