ENTRY TO ENGLISH POETRY
Two years back during my stay
in daughter’ place at USA,
sitting idle most of the day.
Search for literary works brought
‘Poetry Soup’ as fertile plot.
Got space to sow seeds of thought.
Stepped in world of English Poetry.
Got interest on first entry.
To win contest, seemed victory.
Creation cum recreation
Gradually on addiction.
Enjoyed other’s composition.
Initiated by Poetry Soup
Ventured writing poems among group.
Inspiration from contest loop.
To pass time, an excellent step.
Easy means to express myself.
Pleasure comes and pain can escape.
