Enjoy Blessings Designated To I Alone

Recently I came across some poetry one in particular really moved my heart it was Fanny Crosby's very first poetry piece her writing was amazing, her very first start Speaking of being such a happy child confessing truly she cannot see but resolved in her plight of blindness that to be contented she will be! Amazingly recognising her many blessings enjoyed she has that others don't know makes one ponder of God's particular touch on me and only me which to others don't go Determination filled this lady fully vowing not to weep or sigh at all contentment surrounded her human frame God was her anchor having got his call Looking back now over her life Fanny Crosby's words did so speak of the saviour, she loved to tell others who should also seek (Fanny Crosby (1820-1915) The blind poet hymn writer who penned so many wonderful hymns was a great inspiration to so many. This one I've written is based on her first piece she penned which I've put below.) Fanny Crosby’s First Poem Oh, what a happy child I am, Although I cannot see! I am resolved that in this world Contented I will be. How many blessings I enjoy That other people don’t! So weep or sigh because I’m blind, I cannot, nor I won’t!

What a delightful human being, and God made sure his blessing to her was contentment - how gracious is God, she is an inspiration for the world to see and hear about. Terrific write. Blessings and hugs Gordon, Jennifer.
