Ends Beginning
Are you able to sense it if even not keenly aware
Some may be unable to admit what has long since been in the air
Each day getting more dark as the density of evil wades through
The new contrast being so stark in the legality they strew
Wars abound and famine takes hold as disease bears down
The son of perdition feeling bold in the stealing of your crown
Even the land has begun to shake as nature now takes aim
And yet so few are even awake in not seeing any blame
The slipping and falling away by leaving God’s Word behind
Has made us all prey that is now so much easier to find
Being attacked from every side with no possible chance to win
Leaning even more on pride, the very basis of all that sin
Yet the worst has but to come as it approaches so quickly
For what doesn’t leave you numb will in turn leave you sickly
The balance shifted, the tide turned, once so gifted nor have they learned
His protection lifted yet not discerned as all that’s sifted will be burned
2 Timothy 3:1-5
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
