Endless Search
Another tiresome, effort filled night
My mind analyzing at the wrong time
When sleep is needed to be right
Nothing may make sense in this rhyme
Confusion takes hold, questions whirl
Trying to survive things big and small
Darkness settles in as doubts uncurl
Longing returns to re-build the wall
Safety is something I always maintain
Survival will forever dominate
Confidence in things can quickly wane
With return to reliance of my own traits
If only things could not hurt so deep
Re-playing hurts from yesterdays
When the pain continues to slowly seep
On the endless search in life for new ways
