Endless Fields
Stretching miles and miles before me
Like the waves of a horizon-less sea
Rows of corn, rows of beans, endless fields
Winds blowing promises of generous yields
Millions of cars whiz by every day
Majesty invisible beside the freeway
Rows of corn, rows of beans, endless fields
Nature's bounty from the blind forever sealed
