End of Summer
End of summer first of October leaves cracking brown
Winds blowing through trees with falling leaves
Temperatures lowering colder nights as warmth disappears
Halloween treats with ghosts and goblins abound
Thanksgiving approaching with Turkeys gobbling
Tummies filled with ice cream and cheer on top of hot apple pie
Black Friday shopping day’s credit card bills at nigh
Looking forward to a New Years eve vomiting
Yet work needs to be done bags filled with leaves
October is just starting insulation needs to be done
Cold nights snuggling the wife wondering if it’s, a night for fun
Until next Year when 2021 brings us a new disease
