End of Life Care

Begging for truce in just one form
As I watched my Mom die
Praying for the end of her storm
Her falling tears tore me apart
Advance stage four Cancer
Pain, suffering and broken hearts
A heart of Gold waiting for death
An image that won’t dim
I still remember her last breath
Proud and thankful that I was there
Holding her hand, I stayed
Providing her end of life care

Congratulations on your win. I am so very sorry for your loss. It is not easy. I can relate since I have been through this many times. May you find some peace in knowing she is out of pain and with angels. I just went through this in Nov with my last brother. Peace and blessings be with you.....................

congrats on your win. It's a very sad thing. They told me if my cancer returned, it would inevitably be stage 4, so I am just crossing my fingers and eating healthy as I can. Cancer is happening way too often today. It's genetic in some cases but I think nowadays it's also becoming more and more due to our environment and the toxins in our food. So sorry this happened to you recently, My condolences for your family,

Mark, I am proud of you as well. The passing know we are there till their last breath. I was my Moms caretaker for four years at home. Glad I did that for her. I even gave her CPR once. The EMTs told me I had saved her life. 24/7 care was difficult for four years. I still miss taking care of her. Love, Pangie xx

I knew there was something special about you Pangie! As hard as it was I miss it as well. I bonded with my Mother in those trying times. I'll never regret it. Bless you for loving your Mom so much. Thank you.
