Empty Room
An empty room fills my thought,
a love not found, though I sought.
Broken heart left naked bare,
all alone just standing there.
Cruel is love when not equal,
one leaves strong, other left feeble.
Dreams not shared, between the two,
hopes are dashed for me and you.
Now this bridge I try to mend,
for I need more than just a friend.
You've destroyed the bridge I built,
and broke my heart with no guilt.
So I'm left with broken pieces,
while empty room, the space increases.
