Eleventh September (Engraved Scar)

Would the world forgive?
Destruction of twin towers
echoes of cries and pain
all the nations in prayer
Ghosts and ashes the remainings

Its hard to forget, yet lets try to forgive
(Don't hate them ,hate their deed) Charma

Charma, I can't believe that reading this short poem, I got all choked up. Great power with few words. Sad. But excellently written. Lovingly, Dane (Soupmail for Charma...soon)

Ever so kind an loving with your advice at the end, Charma. Still, it's hard for me to forgive bin Laden, especially since he still has his freedom and is not paying for his crime. This is a wonderful poem, a haunting recollection of a tragic day. Only time will tell if the world will forgive. Great work! Love you! Carolyn
