Elemental
Earth is noble, generous and kind.
From it we reap and in it we sow,
From our very own roots we find,
That the Earth is there to help us grow.
Wind can be forceful, strong, wild,
With all the rage of the world inside.
Or it can be gentle, blissful, mild,
Sweeping the static humid air aside.
Fire is passion, full of life and full of light
Its lustful churning flames soar aloft,
As ever will it burn, ever will it fight,
But with a hopeful warmth, tender, soft.
Water. Without you, what are we?
Valleys crumble and bend to your will,
Pure power without vanity,
Whether roaring white or placid and still.
Respectfully I tread earth, breathing in the breeze.
Thirst watered and fire warmed, living with ease.
