In shadow, he stands~ not as a man but as an echo; His bow,a ladder to unknown sanctuary; In his hand, draws breath of strings like a promise made before birth. The first note is not played~ It is adrift. Low and slow, as if mourning something not yet lost but already grieved. Andrei does not memorise He remembers. Each motion of his wrist a love letter to heaven The violin screams without voice a single thread unraveling from the sleeve of Sicilian suit. The trumphets weep next~ not in Bravado, but in reverence. Andrei breathes through it all his fingers shaping the ache into architecture~ an ornate oratorio palace built from celestial hands And when the final notes fade like the last glimmer of a midnight lamp the silence glows.
