Eerie Night

Just drove home from the pub tonight, As we got to our door we saw an eerie sight. As we looked out to see our wonderful view, All was hidden between Paphos and Armou. A heavy mist caused by the days heat, Had covered the place right up to our street. Not a sound could we hear, not a car or a light, 'Twas an odd thing to see on this lovely night. It will all be gone as the sun rises tomorrow, As another hot day is forecast to follow. © Dave Timperley 04 July 2016
