Edge (For Cutey)

What shall I call you when we meet The same old remembrance of the past? The hope of me your choice did delete? Or that other thing that did not last? What shall remember us When we are blown away like violet dust We build no monument of blood The will shall honor all his brood O cruel and unkind fate To tempt us with freedom, so, so late. Look where we walk now no sea to laugh Life at the edge and tumbling off If I fall let me go alone, but if you do I coming down with you Love is ever such a sacrificial thing The more my heart cries the more I cling.

o my goodness i cannot believ that i am your first comment on this poem. this poem is love personified! it is amazingly the best most true love poem ever, i love my husband and feel the same way and i also feel that if anything ever happened to him i would die of a broken heart but if anything ever happened to him i would want him to have a great life, so that last ending line was a very good one and a new side of love is...sacrifice, that is beautiful!=)jo
