they truly are nearly all sugar (and flour!) Love them at Xmas time. This is close to what would have been my OTHER theme, had I not done Fun. I'd have done FOOD! Congrats.

I think many of us miss the days when we received such tasty treats from our grandmothers. Mine made kruschicki, Polish cookies covered with powdered sugar. Thank you for bringing that memory back to me. Very nicely penned, Paula!

oh what a charming poem,it evokes such wonderful memories... makes me wish i had had grandparents I feel i missed out so much when I was growing up:-( hugs Jan xx

Thank You, for writing. Yes, we both missed out. Both granddads were gone when I was a baby. My one grandmother, I only saw a few times. These cookies came from the grandmother that passed away when I was a baby. They are the best cookies and I still make them every Christmas. Have a wonderful day.................
