Bleeding through the silences,
Words – rugged, rough promises
Wounded by doubt and disillusionment,
Portraying the pain, the penetrating
Pain – rising through the veins, whimpering
Feasting on the visions, devouring
The memories, the sweetness
Blending with happiness, the darkness
Glistening with stardust dreams, dramas
Alive with the fires, the eagerness
Elation blooming like the shadows of a night
Passion, never quiet – always inviting
The beautiful, the ache, the gentling, calm
Soothing away the bonds of doubt,
The clouds of emptiness, barren deserts
Unsettling, draining away the affections
The desolate, peaks of empty abiding in the
Hills, broken and bleak, awakening bare
Graves, melancholic – devoid of real grace
Breaking through the serenity, the faith
Weakening the dreams, the aching dreams
Hope like no hope, innocent and devoid of sorrow
Erasing the grasp doubt has on tomorrow’s
Promise, her belief in forever and today – I pray
I only pray for the moment that is, the present time
The grace that fills my soul with light…
Bleeding, blending, breaking away the past’s hold
On forever, where love and I will always be together,
Sharing in the light who shines through hearts who know
It is love that brings awake this tenderness, this forever
Grace that finds a way to make hearts break at such a leisurely place
