Easter Song For Children

I am on the hunt for Jesus today He loves me true, so happy Sunday! He died for me, he died for you! Is that an Easter egg painted blue? I run through the grass, it tickles my toes. Jesus is watching, he goes where I go. I am on the hunt for Easter eggs true. Here is a large pink one just for you. We have a nice dinner – potatoes and steak. I love today’s weather, my outfit is great! Here are my cousins, they are looking too. We are all finding Jesus. How about you?

Such a lovely poem, Caren, and how it reminded me of Easter Sunday morning when we would hunt for colored Easter eggs. I recall, too, how on Saturday night we would gather around the kitchen table to color them. Such fun.
