Easter
When you think of Easter
Do you think about the Easter Bunny?
Long fluffy ears
Bright red nose
A cupboard full of chocolates
A treasure hunt filled with fun and games?
When I think of Easter
I think of a religious celebration,
Family gathering
Children preparing for an eventful vacation.
When the world prepares for Easter
We all think of Christ on a cross
Making a great scarification
Easter is an event that brings cultures and generations together
People coming to the alter
With stories of their pass
Looking for some clarification
Easter is a wonderful celebration
Bringing out the best in us all
You can say it has a lot of comparison,
To the time of the year where we love receiving and giving.
Easter is not about the Easter bunny,
It's about the sacrifice the Lord made for us all.
