Earth, Wind, Fire
Science says the Big Bang began it all.
When did the Earth form, when did life begin?
When did rhyme and reason rise to the call,
searching for meaning in what might have been?
It matters not to know how or know when,
I say it was God’s hand that let life in!
Temperatures rise, Wind begins to blow
thru meadows and grasses, sails on the sea.
Kissing the treetops, and creatures below,
as dandelion fluff, with one puff, fly’s free.
An invisible wave no one can see…
the breath of God blows by silent decree.
Fire was discovered, and man gathered round,
torches burned brightly to light up the night.
Forests soon burned, but renewal was bound
as life was destroyed, all would be made right.
The passions of man soon would take flight
while forever being bathed in God’s light.
Understanding science might be the goal…
But only faith, and love, can build a soul!
