''Dusty''

Within an old box in my musty, dark basement; I found my journals. So many- sad, I held one, a dusty book of dead dreams. __________________ April 9, 2017 Tanka/"Dusty" Copyright Protected, ID 891013 One Tanka Rick Parise Fifth Place

Congratulations, Broken Wings for your heart-felt write in tanka form. Some memories are best buried in the dust. Kudos on your placement.

That's so sad... I think we've all got some books of dead dreams hidden away somewhere (whether real or metaphorical). Good luck with the contest. Regards, John.

Good Afternoon Broken. The Tanka is in true form. Your theme is more than fine and reflective. You allow the reader to look within. All is well within the entry. Well done entirely. Good luck with the contest.
