Drunk Man's Statement
Officer, He…. seemed..... very far
But before I knew it he was creasing the bull bar
Officer, I implore you, It's not my fault.
I tried to bring the car as quick as I could to a halt
Believe me when I say this, I'm not to blame.
Today is not a good day, I’ll never be the same
All the evidence looks like it points to me but, You have no proof.
I’m not the one that has caused this goof
Any way I will show no shame
Still after today, I’ll never be the same
He jumped in front of the car
Suicidal freak I swear it’s bizarre.
Sorry sir, you are under arrest as you can see
It wasn’t a man you hit but a tree.
