Drowning

Depression engulfs me into its depths and drowns me in its sorrow, an ocean so deep that I fear I will never reach the bottom. Instead, I just swim aimlessly like a scuba diver who is running out of air but can't remember which way is up. I flail trying to find my way, but I can never swim out of its darkness. When will I be able to come up for air? I am drowning in this feeling
