Dressed Up To the Nine
A poem dressed up to the nine
Suggests divergent style of fine,
Whose meaning transcends mortal mind,
Like “Vision” of a man “born blind,”
Though if God's muse one overheard,
Could poet own a single word?
Though men, of course, to truth aspire,
Might God's warmth set one’s flesh on fire,
What colors seen by God in flight,
Await the dying of our light,
When souls expand to meld with God,
And not one Angel thinks it's odd.
Though sweetest verse serves vanity,
What poet ever authored bee?
