Dreams of Tomorrow

Without dreams of tomorrow, shadows descend upon the light. There is loss, bringing sorrow. Day becomes endless night. Pain that dwells within the soul, leaves life devoid of color. In time, it takes control, while remaining undercover. Conflicting emotions lead, to feelings we don't understand. We lose sight of what we need, thoughts, no longer ours to command. Life's joyful moments are gone. Sadly, destroyed by pain. No longer the will to move on. Leaving us with nothing to gain. Dreams bring hope for tomorrow. The beautiful dawn, of a new day. To own the image, not borrow. Never letting it slip away. The precious gift we hold inside. Our inner light, brightly shining. Acts as our own spirit guide, a pact that is forever binding.
