Dreams

It is easier to share your bed and my body
Than to share your bed and my dreams.

To view your instant gratification on my chest
Verses getting it off my chest.

I can lie with you naked for hours
But probe me to expose myself
And I’ll quiver like a cornered dog
Pushing you away by challenging you
So I may run at the first opening.

Why did I come?
I knew this would happen.
You ask me about my favourite position;
I like it on top
With my heart and mind aligned.
