Dream Dancing--Maverick Free Verse
Inspiration in my skirt tails and there are
Moonbeams under my feet and I feel
Lilting melodies in the air rising as
My soul lifts to the skies while I
Sashay across the terra firma
Falling into a crescendo then finally
Rescued by the starlight above me
Lovingly I caress the wind and
Carry on like two lovers in the night
Breathing in the silken air and relishing
The lush landscape that surrounds
My reverie and a song so sweet
This is the most precious of times
Dancing myself into dreamland
