Dragon's Fire

What is held In the dragons fire Is it power Or is it life Burning down things Making new things grow Trees and grass Falling to ash Castles and knights Arrows and swords Weapons to kill One another Wings flap In the sky Noises coming From afar They are the noises Of dragons roaring Scaly bodies Powerful claws Teeth are still Razor sharp Blowing fire From deep within It is made From there hearts So what to see Inside the yellow flames Of the dragons fire

Couldn't help but think of these dragons as bomber jets loaded and set to fire. Excellent use of imagery to create both pictures and mood! Love, Carolyn

Sounds like a beast to stay away from. Keep the wild imagination going and the pen flowing. Sara
