One of those days wouldn’t wish on anyone’s prey
My mother-in-law she did stay
Not a person you would want for a fun day
She came up to the trays
Stood by the buffet
And conveyed,
“This buffet is going to my place
and the one in my home will replace”
An unwanted guest she always makes my days gray
I would one of these days love to just say “ Shoo fly, don’t bother me”
Puzzled; everyone looked at me than back at her
Everyone knew she’d made the offer before
And that I had turned her down and made her sore.
I didn’t ignore, I implored,
“Now, I told you before no way!”
She looked at me, twist and bends out of her normal shape
A dragon transformed, but held her breath
Paybacks or hell when a dragon transformed
To see a display of fireworks next time we play
May then I can say “ Shoo fly, don’t bother me”
