Down In My Soul
DOWN IN MY SOUL (DEEP, DEEP, DEEP, DEEP)
Daddy, may I go outside and play
I have a friend His name is Jesus
Mama, can I go into my closet
I need to pray in the name of Jesus
And down in my soul
deep, deep, deep, deep in my soul
I feel Him
I need Him
He's my friend
Let me say it again
I need to pray in the name of Jesus
I need to stay within the arms of Christ
Because it would be so very nice
I feel Him
down, deep, deep, deep, deep in my soul
I need Him
He's my friend
And I won't let Him go
He's better than TV,
He's all I need to be
He's my real friend
To the very end
And He will keep me
Safe, Keep me from
All hurt and harm
He'll hold me by my arm
I'll let Him lead, lead, lead me on..
And I love Him so
And I'll never, never, gonna let Him go
Jesus
And down in my soul
deep, deep, deep, deep in my soul
I feel Him
I need Him
He's my friend
Let me say it again
I need to pray in the name of Jesus
I need to stay within the arms of Christ
Because it would be so very nice
I feel Him
down, deep, deep, deep, deep in my soul
Deep, deep, deep,
Down in my soul
I love the Lord
