Doubt You

Many may doubt you
And think they really know about you
Continually trying to clown you
Because they want to drown you
Getting frustrated when they don't know how to
Outdo
What becomes now new
Eventually is considered old, and either scarce or commonly seen around you
Within the presence of what many consider godly, they bow to
As matter accumulates and disperses all around you
Years in the dark, until there is an essential newfound clue
Undisputable, way down to
The root of it all, something so foul but true
Seen across more than a town or few
And in and out of a house or two
Crowds surrounded soon
So many wanted the fame, money and a crown of jewels
Amidst when another drought had loomed
In a stream where rainbow trout grew
There was several hundred sprouts in view
As stormy clouds drew
Had much more than a stout or two
Wound up on the couch and snoozed
Woke up thankful, resumed progress and was proud to
