Doomsday

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock…. It’s two minutes to midnight until the universe expires, complete pandemonium; I can hear the angel choirs. Temperature rising with heat too hot to even think, this existence will be over by the next time I blink. Will there be “the light”, or will I see hell’s fires? I must tell all I know I love them before I disappear, is this excitement or is what I feel intense fear? I know not much on earth, but I do know this, in just two minutes I’ll be sucked into some abyss. It’s weird I can sense my sweet dead sister near. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock… It’s only one minute to midnight as the end closes in, I must ask forgiveness and atone for all my sin. There may be no redemption left for pitiful me, I’ve done things, said things; things only God can see. I know not where I’m going, but I know where I’ve been. The sweat pours down my cheek, the chills devour, and I didn’t even know eleven p.m. would be my final hour. Shaking and quivering in what I know as apprehension, will I get sent below, or start my final ascension? I fall to the ground in torment, look at the clock and cower. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock… (Time has run out on the clock.)
