Don'T Try If You Can'T Make
DON"T TRY IF YOU CAN"T MAKE
Tall trees shake hard
Leaves fly like bird
They dance in glee
Wind makes them free.
Don’t make your mind
Lone tree of wild
If it can’t waltz
When dire storms surge.
Nests fall on ground
Chicks are not found
Sad birds still sing
In ruins storms bring.
Don’t make your heart
A raged bird hurt
If it can’t sing
In squall on wing.
Blue waves heave high
Break on shore dry
When slate sky falls
Sea in joy rolls.
Don’t make your mind
Sore sea in grind
If it can’t ride
Surge of time tide.
Burst stream carves hills
On banks flood spills
It leaps in fall
Glide doesn’t stall.
Don’t make your life
Strayed stream in strife
If it can’t flow
When times plunge low.
