Dont Take This Wrong But
Don’t take this wrong my college advisor said.
When you have this interview I want you to be yourself
But..um, well. She gave me a sideways smile.
I know she loves me.
“Not so much me?” I guessed.
We caught looks and could not stop laughing.
Both of us knowing how ridiculous it was.
I could not help being me, never have, never will.
