Don'T Be Fooled By the Smiles In Her Eyes

Don't be fooled by the smiles in her eyes Don't be fooled by the upturned lips If you stare deep inside those smiles are tears If you look under the skin there is pain Don't be fooled by the by her laugh Don't be fooled by her joy If you dig deep enough there is sorrow If you peer inside there is pain Don't be fooled by her sweet words Don't be fooled by her talk Underneath there are scars She wonders will they heal again Don't be fooled by the smiles in her eyes Don't be fooled by those upturned lips She's scarred deep inside, she covers it well And she wishes so much they would heal
