Don'T Be Afraid of Losing Me

Doubts more than conviction make you restless, worthless, and vain: nobody can fix what's broken... that's the reality you ignore; if only you thought differently, you would advance in the game of chess that two people play, why do you find this affair so lame? Don't be afraid of losing me, I seek someone with a solid mind and that devoted heart fully kind; don't be afraid of losing me, what you perceive is so silly! You have failed with others, was it your fault or theirs? Don't cling desperately to me... begging me to stay faithful totally, and not hurt your feelings; have you put enough smile into to those fake emotions that you claim to be truthful? Change yourself, then change me! Don't be afraid of losing me, I won't cancel from this mind a single memory, or every gentle hug that drew you closer to me; don't be afraid of losing me!
