Donkey of Each Night

Starved, the wild donkey of each night
Still carries so incredible much light,
On his back, in old tattered sacks,
With sweat dreams of hay stacks;
Sometimes, they hard tempt him to stop
But, never had he turned his head to crop.

Many wonder how he can resist a day.
But, in a hurry he goes on his way
Making a path to the old mountain:
His eyes, like a summer-dried fountain,
Rest in the shadow, while on his back
The light is still flowing from the sack.

Persistently loyal to the task at hand, God bless these dutiful steadfast creatures. Nice imagery, 'His eyes, like a summer-dried fountain", makes me think of their of their large, burnished, earth toned eyes. Enjoying this write, thanks for sharing your clever thoughts! Mikki

I think in Spanish it means: beautiful...Also,it was an English movie about a man too busy who observed some changes in his wife behavior, she having long walks in the city.So he paid a detective to find if Belinda has a friend as he had supposed. After a while, the detective reported she would love somebody indeed, it was just a strange happening while himself following her everywhere to find her secret, they (thus the detective and she) fell in love, but kind of innocent love and the businessman could eventually win again the love by playing with her in the same innocent way
