DOGS IN HEAVEN When my daughter brought five dogs into my life I would never imagine my family to be Larger than life It feels like God blessed us with one big family It took me a little while to realize this is now reality This has shown me a lot more about the meaning of care And if any trouble arises hopefully my heart will be able to bear With kisses and licks everywhere on my cheeks I realize each dog has their techniques One day our togetherness comes to an end You were the one I could always depend on You will always be my best friend You have left for the heavens with so much pride Your pride and love will never be denied Your work and love are finally done on this earth We gave you the best love that you always deserved So lay down in heaven and finally rest So each day you will always have love and joy Just remember we will be looking at your picture every day And I know in heaven you will always be okay
