Those Dog Years
Never put lipstick on a pig,
never grab a dog by their ears
Never wipe the eyes
of someone crying crocodile tears
Never vote for someone
who will make you age in dog years
Never drive a fast car
that got slow working gears
Never lead a cattle drive
without having an alpha steer
If your heart gets unsteady
because you’re scared of nuclear fears
Then, never vote for someone
who will make you age in dog years
Never choose a leader
who was reality television made
Never elect someone
who will accelerate you to the grave
Never be a monkey chump,
a dunce cap organ grinder slave
Never vote for someone
whose dog years give you dog days
If you make Scooby Doo your king,
you won’t like the smell he bring
Lifting of his leg in a canine style way,
pooping on you in dog years each day
