Does God feel?

I think God is deaf and blind But, God is not dumb I thought He couldn’t feel I thought He had no feelings He gave away all his senses He’s a raving magician Waving his wand making orbits Birthing stars without sperm Destroying lives in every galaxy Does he care about this lonely planet? He gave His eyes to behold Him He gave bees and us eyes to spy He gave His ears to hear the Good News Elephants have ears better than ours He gave his nose to remember His scent Pigs can root out truffles better He gave us tongues for bittersweet notes Gourmands say they taste a symphony He gave us nerves to feel those we hate But, we all feel when given a hug The last of his gifts is also a curse He gave us a mind to know madness Imagine billions of souls as a planet’s brain Choosing suicide versus love His Son chose sacrifice than power Leaving His forgiveness for us to judge Odin gave up his eye for foresight But, He gave up all senses and His Son His brain he entrusted to us All His madness and sensibility He entrusted his body called Earth to us His mind He divorced in billions of us Fractured, He’s still hoping for a family Forgiveness for His transgression Say loneliness drove Him to it Blindly seeking an embrace Granting us a brain like a God Fighting entropy like a sun For the little ones on a planet With limbs still to grow Like fists in the universe Punching God Proclaiming glory Giving Him eyes Giving Him ears To suffer with us
