Listen to poem:

Do you Know Who I am?

I am the unfulfilled dream,
I am the demon not faced,
I am the speech without a theme,
I am fears you haven’t chased.

The wave lost in an ocean wide,
The seed hiding afraid to grow,
The storm brewing on every side,
The tide feels a great tow.

So see who I am

Your dream will become a reality,
Your demon disappears,
Your words an actuality,
Your strength conquers fears.

The wave will pound the sand,
The seed begins to grow,
The storm will show its hand,
The tide begins to ebb and flow.…

I am your potential—release me.

Alison, you are quite inspirational. Some don't wish for personal growth. Some don't know what self-discovery is, and there are those that won't unlock an inner power. But, those that attempt to be successful will self-actualize. Like you. - Chris

There is a hidden potential in each one of us. In some, it may lie dormant. If we release the potential lying dormant in us and allow it to come to the fore, our weakness will turn into strength. A powerful poem. Thank you Alison for visiting my page.

Love the way you presented things and then went through each point to show hope if potential. Is it for the hope contest?

The kingdom is really in the palm of each our hands. Grasp and release. We have the God given power. Weakness is an illusion. That grips the world unfortunately. Great poem!
