Do You Know Me

Its an antiseptic room filled with white linoleum stranger still, the small cot that cradles her is being transported , she is not at home; "Lie still" the voices say, but her mind races D O W N HILL , Where am I ? She whimpers. A tall burly man walks in the musky scent of forestry, he invades her tongue with sweets then asks, "do you know who I am?" A splash of recognition takes over, "I think,... I do? " Without regard to her glass smack the sun returns indiscriminately and lands, on their playing field. Dec. 28, 2018 Contest Name: Brainy Brevity Sponsor: Maureen McGreavy

Very interesting, Pixie, but I wish I knew who the man with that "forest scent" was. Guess this is a brain teaser. Best wishes in the contest, dear. Hugs, Carolyn
