Do What You Can While You Are Young
We all have ailments.
More when we get older.
Some commonality.
Our colds.
Our flu.
Our headaches.
Our heart aches.
We share.
Readily.
It’s weird how
Fast things creep
Up on us now.
It’s harder to
Run; maybe
Even impossible.
I have not skipped
Since my knee
Injuries.
Knee injuries
That probably
Would not have
Slowed me down
Even a bit
Twenty years ago.
Do whatever you
Can while you are
Young, my friends.
When you get
Older
It
Is
A
Lot
More
Difficult.
Laugh
If you
Must.
I was
You
Once,
Laughing
Too.
