Do we end?
One is buried, the other is cremated.
Both are consigned to dust and ash
Both are gone, merging with the earth
Are they finished? Do they end?
Difficult question, with different answers
Science, religion and philosophy creep in
Many tried but failed, conjectures rule
The answer has to rise from the void
Human is contained in human cage
Cage disappears and becomes dust
Are the human and the cage different?
If yes, the human continues around
Nothing finishes, only form disappears
Things change their appearance
All are existing somewhere as something
As moot, unchartered and unknown
The loss of cage is perceived as death
Truth is buried in inevitable perception
But death is not the end, with a caveat
One has to excavate the conceptual vacuum
Till then, answer lies in assumptions
Endowed with intellect and wisdom
Hunting the answers is our inherent trait
But we cannot touch the sky
