Do we end?

One is buried, the other is cremated. Both are consigned to dust and ash Both are gone, merging with the earth Are they finished? Do they end? Difficult question, with different answers Science, religion and philosophy creep in Many tried but failed, conjectures rule The answer has to rise from the void Human is contained in human cage Cage disappears and becomes dust Are the human and the cage different? If yes, the human continues around Nothing finishes, only form disappears Things change their appearance All are existing somewhere as something As moot, unchartered and unknown The loss of cage is perceived as death Truth is buried in inevitable perception But death is not the end, with a caveat One has to excavate the conceptual vacuum Till then, answer lies in assumptions Endowed with intellect and wisdom Hunting the answers is our inherent trait But we cannot touch the sky , ,
