What makes us feel good Is to do the right thing Give a few bucks to a down and outer It will make your heart sing Visit an elderly woman or man Or call them on the telephone They never hear from their families Without you they are alone Volunteer at your local school Teach a child to read and write A sense of worth will surge through you You will have made a friend for life Acts of kindness are often quite easy to do And through your good deeds, you create a new you!
