Now don’t take this wrong my mentor said but when you interview for this job…. “Don’t be myself?” I guessed. She laughed. “Don’t be SO MUCH YOU,” she suggested. “Just give them a bit of you.” Because I am too much? We could not stop laughing. During the interview, my heart said “Be the real you, be yourself, be YOU.” I did, I got the job, and I have never wavered from this inner voice.
