Divorce 2

Death of a marital relationship is painful. I pray that I never encounter such pain. Indivisible is replaced by splitting, by divisible. Like mercy trumps judgment, may unity prevail. Voices of love were exchanged for myriads of questions. May our Lord invade our lives with practical answers. Opportunities and dreams have turned into nightmares. May doors of opportunity widen and our dreams reappear. Relationships after divorce do not have to be resentful and distant. Let failure become a springboard to future success. Children's interests must be paramount and highly considered. Self-interests must take a backseat to our children's interests. Ending a marriage does not end with the signing of papers, and Romantic love need not destroy the flames of the love of God.
