Divorce

Divorce is rarely a triumph, falling apart as a curse.  
Indulging stable tension with your child referees.
Venture a long divorce, privacy in public courts.
Ostensible sets and claims, serve to widen the gap.
Relationship ending in bitter is such a sad event.
Children's hearts are broken forever,
Essay to gather pieces, start over, your kids in pain.

Do you know Sotto?, I must make this poem my Fav. I've never been able to write acrostic poetry at the moment, but it doesn't matter the type of poetry, what it really matters in the end is the meaning, and I loved this huge piece of words that describe so well what is a divorce. I can't tell you what line is the best, because all are stunning. "Essay to gather pieces, start over, your kids in pain" perhaps that part is the most painful, but all parts of a divorce leave us as different people, something heavy to carry on our back. I don't think people really understand the impact of divorce, i applaud those who stay for the sake of their children, but that still can cause problems and so many suffer from it.. your acrostic reads really well and you have covered a lot of aspects of divorce in it... childrens hearts are broken forever.. so very true my friend..

So well written about divorce dear Sotto, you’ve said it all. Divorce doesnt just affect individuals married but also affects negatively and strongly on children involved , hanging in the middle of it all, your acrostic flows very well and conveys so much. I especially loved the line “ Venture a long divorce, privacy in public courts“ deep and profound. But sometimes divorce also is the best choice for kids, and all involved when relationships can be toxic. Pleasure always reading you, BOL

More than the loneliness and frustration that befall the separated pair, what makes a divorce sad is the uncertainty and agony experienced by their children. The consequence of divorce is powerfully conveyed in this beautiful acrostic ! Have a happy week dear friend.
